What we collect

• Your name, email address and password for your account.
• Your date of birth, so the age rules for sessions are applied automatically, and the names and dates of birth of any dependants you add.
• Your vehicle registration, so the team knows whose vehicles are on site.
• The medical declarations you make on the waiver and when booking sauna sessions.
• Payment details, which are held by Stripe — we never see your full card number.
• Your bookings, passes, memberships, account credit and attendance.
• Any guests you bring and their contact details.
• Messages you send us, and your marketing preference.

What we do with the information

• To take and manage your bookings, passes and memberships, and to obtain payment.
• To keep the site safe: the age rules, the waiver, the medical declarations the team sees on the day, and vehicle registrations.
• To send the emails your bookings need: confirmations, reminders, cancellations, payment records and account notices.
• To send you news and offers by email only if you have opted in. You can change this in your account at any time.
• Internal record keeping, and improving our services.

Medical information

Medical declarations are special-category data. They are seen only by the staff who need them to keep you safe, they are never included in emails, and they are not used for any other purpose.

Who we share it with

Stripe processes payments; Resend delivers our emails; Vercel and Neon host the platform and its database. Each of them acts under contract and only to provide that service. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Cookies

The site uses one cookie, to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and we do not profile your browsing. If we add analytics in future, they will run only with your consent.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites, and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Controlling your personal information

You can update your details, your vehicle registration and your marketing preference in your account at any time. You may request details of the personal information we hold about you under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 — email hello@courtfarmlakes.co.uk. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible and we will promptly correct it.

Photo and video

Court Farm Lakes reserves the right to use any photograph or video taken at any sponsored event or session, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph or video. Court Farm Lakes may use the photograph or video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by Court Farm Lakes, including but not limited to brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites and social media. To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

A person attending a Court Farm Lakes event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, the event organisers or Court Farm Lakes at the time. Any person or organisation not affiliated with Court Farm Lakes may not use, copy, alter or modify Court Farm Lakes photographs, graphics, videography or other similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of the Court Farm Lakes management team.
